- Diary content such as titles, diary text, selected diary dates, uploaded photos, drafts, published entries, and related metadata.
- AI and insight data such as conversations with Lumi, AI-generated reflections, emotion labels, keywords, summaries, and persona connections.
- Notification and device data such as Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens, platform, app environment, app version, device language, and similar identifiers needed for notifications and app operation.
- Support and deletion request information that you send to us by email or through public request pages.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information for the purposes below.
- To create, authenticate, maintain, and protect your account.
- To save, sync, display, edit, and delete diary entries and photos.
- To generate AI conversations, reflections, emotion insights, and keyword summaries based on your entries and messages.
- To send app notifications when you enable notification features.
- To provide support, respond to requests, process account deletion, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve app reliability and user experience using limited operational data.
4. AI Processing
Babbly.ai uses automated systems to generate reflections, emotion insights, and conversational replies. Your diary entries, photos metadata, and chat messages may be processed to provide these features.
AI outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate and are provided for self-reflection only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information or private diary content. We share information only as needed to operate Babbly.ai, protect users, or comply with law.
- Authentication providers, such as Google or Apple, when you choose social sign-in.
- Cloud hosting, storage, database, and backend service providers used to operate the app.
- Push notification providers such as Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- AI processing providers that process data on our behalf to provide app features.
- Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transmission, access controls, and environment separation, to protect personal and sensitive user data.

We keep account and app data while your account is active or as needed to provide Babbly.ai. You can request account deletion from inside the app or through our account deletion page.
After account ownership is verified, account data and associated app data are scheduled for deletion within 30 days. Backup copies and limited operational records may be retained for up to 90 days, or longer when required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can contact us to exercise these rights.
You can also manage some data directly in the app, including diary entries, photos, notification settings, and account deletion.
9. Children
Babbly.ai is not directed to children under the digital consent age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not allowed to use the service. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it.
10. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
